Hala Moussa Art- Behind the Artist

My Journey as an Artist

From the early age of childhood, I discovered a love of art. Drawing and painting were not just hobbies for me; they were my earliest forms of self-expression and gateway.

As a child, I started my first drawings on sheets of paper books inspired by the cover photos of cartoon magazines. Then, I shifted to Canson fine art paper, only when I got more inspired by my friend’s mother, who is also an artist, and joined her in the art of painting on the wall in her living room. My friend and I got even more excited when we decided to paint together on the wall of her bedroom. Surprisingly, my friend’s mother fueled our motivation even further.

As I grew older, my passion for art only intensified. I delved into various mediums, experimenting with oil, pastels, and watercolors. Then, I decided to join a local school certified by the Ministry of Education, where I learned additional mediums and pushed the boundaries of my creativity. At this time, I started painting on stretched canvas, and abstract paintings were my thing. I found myself enjoying knife techniques and texture paint. I started to sell paintings as soon as I began to share my artwork on social media.

My journey as an artist has been one of continuous learning and growth. I have come to realize that art is more than just a skill, it is a reflection of the soul, and by working with my clients, I try to understand their inner thoughts to express their storytelling into a masterpiece.

And so, I continue to embrace the endless possibilities that lie ahead on this ever-unfolding canvas of life. For in the end, it is not the destination that matters, but the journey; and mine, as an artist, is a journey filled with color, passion, and endless experimentation.

Thank you for joining me on my artistic journey!

All the love,

Hala
